GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATION FLAGS

These G-Spec (TM) flags are made to the official government specification with a length ( 'fly' ) to height ( 'hoist' ) ratio of 1:1.9. They therefore appear 'too long' compared with the flags we are used to seeing, such as a 3' x 5' flag with a ratio of 1:1.67 or a 4' x 6' flag with a ratio of 1:1.5. They are made of a lighter weight parachute-grade nylon and fly well even in the slightest breeze. These flags have a dramatic look that commands attention.

ANTIQUE-LOOK FLAGS & PULLDOWNS

The Heritage (TM) series of cotton flags are tea-dyed to give them a rich antique appearance. Besty Ross and 50-star flags with sewn stripes and embroidered stars are available as well as a pulldown of the same construction and printed pleated fans.

The Olde Philadelphia (TM) series of cotton flags also has an antique appearance that is not as dark as the Heritage. The flags feature sewn stripes and appliqued stars that are imperfectly shaped to give them a rustic, hand-cut look.The pulldown and fans are printed.
