Flagpoles are constructed of A-36 carbon steel with a yield point of 36,000 psi and finished in a durable paint in a choice of colors. The flagpoles are shipped in 3 to 5 sections each about 30' long. The diameter of each section is smaller than the one below it, with the top section having a diameter of 6.625 inches. During assembly, cone-shaped diameter reducers are installed to give the overall flagpole a more tapered-like appearance. Walls of the base section are 0.500 in thick. All flagpoles listed are designed for wind loads of 130 mph without a flag and 90 mph with a flag of the suggested size.
Flagpoles are equipped with a stainless steel cable internal halyard that is operated with a removeable crank handle on a stainless steel gearless winch which is protected behind a lockable door. The halyard is equipped with a retainer ring with 2" diameter rollers and counterweight. The flagpole is topped with a heavy duty 18" diameter gold powdercoated revolving Ball / Truck assembly with dual stainless steel precision bearings on a stainless steel spindle. Also included are a flash collar and corrugated steel foundation sleeve with lightning spike.
