"STICK" FLAGS & GRAVE FLAGS
Stick flags are inexpensive flags printed on cotton and stapled to a natural wood staff with a gilt spear tip. Two varieties are available: (a) Unhemmed 'NoFray' flags are relatively stiff muslin that tend to stand straight out from the staff, and (b) Hemmed flags are made of a more supple cloth and tend to drape more like a larger flag. The 4 in x 6 in No-Fray flags often are used as "giveaway" flags at parades and other events. The hemmed 12 in x 18 in size is often used on graves and its 3/8 in diameter staff fits most gravemarkers.
TABLETOP & CLASSROOM U.S. FLAGS
These hemmed U.S. flags are made of a silk-like rayon and are printed using the same aniline dye process used to make full-sized outdoor flags. The 4 in x 6 in flags are stapled to a 10 in x 3/16 in black plastic staff with gilt spear tip. Larger sizes are stapled to a black ebonized wooden staff with gilt spear tip.
