“City of Champions”, a Roman legion style banner for the legion of Pittsburgh (Pgh) fans around the world.
If Pittsburgh teams had played in the Coliseum 2000 years ago they might have carried this flag to the shouts of “Hic sumus !” (Here we go !)
Hand crafted in the U.S.A., the flag is a large 20 in x 26 in linen-like cloth with 4 in wide heavy gold fringe. The design is a thick layer of yellow-gold paint hand applied through a screen to give an uneven imperfect rustic appearance like flags may have looked 2000 years ago. It is mounted on a natural wood dowel with braided gold hanging cord.
